Here's a post I made about Frankel which doesn't show up in that reading's page. I think I have a few other posts in the same circumstance.

When I went back to the post linked above, the "You are writing about:" field was empty. Even if I set it to Frankel1999 and then save, nothing changes.

Unsure what to do next?

I don't think this is a big deal, just something for people to be aware of.

This happened twice. I wrote something in the box on chat window. Pressed on enter and it didn't post. Other times it was OK. Maybe this is due to load or network traffic.

Yes, this has happened to me. The post is visible in my own blog but not in the page for the reading.

I'm using a Mac (as I know a number of other students are as well). I was hoping we could create a little thread within this technical support post describing ways to work around some of the weirdness seen when using Mac-based browsers (Safari and Firefox) with Drupal - assuming this is running on Drupal.

I'll go first. I can't seem to get the rich text editor to work in Safari or Firefox. Anyone have any luck with it on either of those browsers?

Which browser have people had the most luck with when using a Mac? I'm going to assume Firefox because of its cross-platform nature, but I'd like to hear from all the experts out there.

Can someone please tell me how to quote text?! I have seen a few of you do it, but I can't find any widget in the rich-text formatting box for it.

attempting to view the RSS feed in Safari makes the feed address appears as:

feed://icd.si.umich.edu/684/blog/blog/17/blog/blog/blog/blog/blog/blog/blog/blog/blog/blog/blog/blog/blog/blog/blog/blog/blog/feed

and obviously fails

I'm using PC, and very often the posting box, that I'm typing in right now doesn't get activated. I can't click on it, the cursor doesn't appear, let alone the UI buttons of the posting box. I need to do many ritual stuff to make it appear and able to write on it.

Something wierd is happening. I cannot see my posts in the pages for readings where everybody's posts are displayed although I can see them in my blog. That was the case for one of the posts for this week but now I cannot see any of them.

I cannot see my posts in the readings but they appear in my blog.  It is the same problem Ayca is having. 

I just uploaded a blog under SmithChapter3, but it does not appear under the topic. I thought I was the first one who posted a blog for the topic for a moment :).  

I could edit this one, but I cannot edit my latest comment to Nika's post.

I am on Firefox on a Mac and I am not able to attach a file to my blog posting. I have done this before, so this baffles me. Basically I see no options, buttons, or other widgets allowing me to upload a document.
